City Council Commission E asks Jakarta Education Dept. (Disdik) to complete 221 schools renovation before the end of this year.

According to him, acceleration for 221 schools renovation, which consists of 119 heavy renovations and 102 total renovations, is included in priority program.
Council Wants School Renovation Made as Priority"Because education is the highest priority for Jakarta development. Then it is followed by health, and others," he added.
Meanwhile, Jakarta Disdik's School Building Section Head, Syaiful Hidayat stated, 221 school buildings which renovated this year are located in five Jakarta cities and one regency. Until now, most of the progress has reached 40-50 percent.
"We hope this can be done according to plan, on December 20," he closed.
